^Doesn't MD have different version spacers? (since that link was posted in 2005)
EDIT: I didn't read the whole thread but the dyno runs in that link were done on different days.

The spacer will improve the overall power band so it is still worth it.

You are completely wrong.

That was back in 05 with the MD 3/8 spacer. Now they run 5/16 so maybe it changed?? I've always heard nothing but good things about the spacers.

umm, 05 6MT = REVUP engine and yes, it is well known a spacer on a revup engine is useless. If you have a revup you'll need to combine the spacer with the MREV2, which is essentially a modified non-revup lower plenum.

If you have a non-revup, then a spacer is well known to add power.

So next... should I get wheel spacers, 350z H-Techs, sideskirts, or exhaust?

Hey everyone im new to the forum and just bought a 05 G35 coupe last week and fell in love with it. I already got a pretty good idea about doing some exterior work but im a little stuck on the performance side. I had to buy an automatic cause manuals are really rare and hard to find in my area (plus traffic here is insane) and I was wondering if it was worth modding. I have some money to throw around and wanted to start off with some basics. Any suggestions on which route to take? I'd appreciate any advice!

Z tube
5/16 spacer
Art pipes
And whatever cat back exhaust you like

That's pretty much it.

Hey everyone, I recently just purchased an 05 MT Coupe and Im almost satisfied but would love a little extra umph. I got about 3 grand to spend. Anything besides the general intakes that would be worthwhile?
