quick opinion needed from someone who has experience...please.

I want a bit more punch.

I have bassani exhaust, pop charger, and JWT flywheel/clutch. The combination got me from 239whp to 250whp. I was expecting a little more.

I've been running 100 octane for a few weeks and I'm feeling addicted. I can keep doing this and throw money away or just put down a few greenbacks and get more power.

Next? spacer? cats? headers?

Maybe just tune the car first and see how it "feels"?

Hey everyone just started to get my mods on, just installed the oem ztube and r2c intake set up, I love couldnt be happier. Just applied 20% tint and 4 cut out gtr tailight overlays look amazing on my blacked out g35.

I had a question for now i want to keep my stock exhaust and I wanted to get strup test pipes, does anyone know if they will make you fail emissions? can you get test pipes with resinators ? does anyone recomend any others that will hook up to the stock exhaust? And where did you get them ? thanks everyone

With that much money, what would give me the most gains , whether is acoustically, asthecically, or power wise.
I also want to make note that i am not using this for racing. i use this car to go almost an hour each way to work but want to have a little more fun in it. also, i do drive automatic for the better mileage so i never go above 2500-3000 rpms

--I was gonna get a z-tube and either a stillen hi flow intake, or mabye plenum spacers.
--or go behind the engine instead and get headers and a cat true exhaust
--or change the looks and get either some halo ccfl headlights, or a lip kit
--or work the ride with mabye coilovers or sway bars
--or finish my sound system with rear speakers and an amp dedicated to the subs (right now i have a 4 channel with the front two on 2 channels and the subs on 2 channels, rest is run off bose)

I do not believe i have the money to tune it, so the CAI would have to be good w/o tune, same with other performace upgrades.

any advice would be greatly appreciated! links to dealers of exact products would be ever more appreciated!!
For 500 you should get some coilovers and a plenum spacer. the coilovers are a must (if not springs at least) and the spacer def makes a difference. Install it all yourself and save the labor. It sounds hard but it's not. After you drop the car the car will look much better and if you get coilovers you can adjust them depending on what rims you eventually get.

You can paint the headlights inside or get some overlays. I would do that first seeing as how they are so cheap. Have a pro install it though or else you will get frustrated if you haven't work with them b4.

^ coilovers AND a spacer for $500?? Damn, where do you get your hookups at man lol. There is no way that he could get both with 500.

A more reasonable option would be the spacer and springs.

Im figuring the spacer cost 250 and he can pick up some used springs for around the same. Check the classified on this site. I have seen some great deals. Go new on the spacer IMO.

ya for 500 i think im more in the range of a new spacer and some springs. how high does the coupe sit off the ground stock?
also, which spacer is better for low end power? or is 1/2" just better no matter what.
and do spacers effect mpg? I am trying to keep mpg the same if not better.
thats why i was thinking headers, a z-tube, and a k&n filter. do spacers add or detract from the mpg?

again thanks for the advice!

The 5/16" spacer gives more gains in the lower end RPMs, while the 1/2" has shown more gains for 5000+ RPMs. Don't think it really changed my MPG or at least not so much that I can notice it.

Z-tube + K&N drop-in is what I run and i'm very happy with the improvements in sound/performance for the cost.

As for springs, the coupes sit somewhat high up in my opinion. You can go for a set of springs and it will lower it a bit, but may put some unwanted camber on your tires, causing them to wear quickly.

De-badged the rear...what now....

WOOHOO, just de-badged my G's rear! and here are some photos of it! Also, going to fix an epic scratch on the bumper pretty soon. But I have about a grand coming in this month and another next month....Any suggestions?? Still considering blacking the headlights to match my painted grill...kind of thinking of new rims since mine have been shot since purchase...but I'm not sure what direction to go.

I have an 03 Coupe with a cheap muffler i put on last year which only emits exhaust from one side. I also don't like the sound too much. I'm looking to upgrade to a dual system but i don't want to spend too much. ($400 or less). Can i pick up one of the systems from Ebay? There seem to be a lot.

Like this one here

If so what should i specifically be looking for?

Or is there an alternate route? I don't even know what a 'test pipe' is. Any help would be much appreciated.

Just a quick questions to anyone who cares to answer. How much horse power can i put down without having to worry too much about the drivetrain, specifically the tranny. These trannys don't come cheap.
input is appreciated.
thanks
