I thought I've read that Haltech before. I haven't been searching about the G35 mods 'till I got laid off. I've read UTEC back in 2009 but then got busy with work, then realized how bad the G35 coupe as a winter car. I'm really interested at an AWD coupe like the G37 (2010 or 2011 models). Don't know though if there's a tuner / scanner or data logger for it. I like to monitor Knock retard or knock 'cause I always tune to the highest posible spark, leanest (safe lean) with zero detonation. Though a little rich feels smooth in the engine though with slower ET.

By the way, I used to be with the Ontario Pontiac Grand Prix club (OQCGP) and Club GP (US Pontiac club). Back there most turbo cars are 11 sec. cars and they're all automatic, FWD, V-6 cars. Nitrous is a DISEASE in the Grand Prix club, and everyone is discouraged or flamed when using it. Tuning is a passion over there.

I was kind of discourage why not too many 11 sec. cars here in the G club or 350/370. I was at Cayuga (Toronto Motorsport) last week and there was a lone 370Z runing mid 12s'. I saw it run 12.5 ET and it beat a Corvette, I forgot the trap speed. I thought the modified G's or 350/370 would yield faster ETs', though I know it has 11.1 compression ratio stock which is detrimental with boost. Pontiac grand Prix has 8.9 CR, and 9.1 Comp. Ratio for the naturally aspirated.

Pontiac GP sponsors or the mod makers/manufacturers are 9 sec. and mid 8 sec. cars with a few 10 sec. cars, Non uses Nitrous. I even posted at Club GP to have ZZP Performance to become an official Infiniti / 350/370 sponsor and make our cars run 9 and 8 sec. cars. Though high / mid 12s' enough for me if possible.

Just ranting I guess. Alot of folks in Youtube disrespects the G35/37 and 350/370. That's why I hoping to see real fast cars of ours specially the sponsors.

Lastly, I noticed alot of the turbo kits for the G35/350Z have their intakes situated on the hot part of the engine bay, most have cone intakes totally exposed to engine heat.. argh!

Now that I have my Z-Tube, K&N Drop in, and 5/16 MD Spacer purchased and installed, what should I do next?

Not looking to spend more than a few hundred bucks. Also dont want to do something that my warranty company would find out about (something i can put back to stock)

not really imo.. you can get hotchkis or md sways for somewhere in the range of ~300 and springs for ~200 normally. Go deal shop/get them used and it's even cheaper. Better items for less.

Intake spacer? I'm guessing you mean plenum spacer. Motordyne 5/16", it is in this thread and many others, look it up for more info.

I'm thinking about getting the Injen CAI for my 05' Coupe. I'm curious though, Doesn't seem like it comes with an airbox for the filter, is that right??

The filter sits down in the bumper so it really isn't required. If your referring to theie short ram intake, then I'm not sure.
