OFFICIAL "What Mods Should I Buy for my Coupe?" Thread
took a while to read through most of the posts on this thread. Also new to the forum so please bare with me. Got a 2003 BS AT coupe with about 28k miles. Done a few cosmetics mods such as LEDs and clear corners. The next mods I will be doing is a couple more cosmetics (plasti dip front grille, plasti dip diffuser, rebadge, and as i read the thread i know i need to get motordyne 5/16" spacer. Could someone link me as to where to get the spacer for a good price. My list is growing and I hope to get a couple pics up by the end of the summer. Thanks!
You could install Motordynes 3/8" spacer but you'll lose your engine cover along with not being able to install a upper strut bar. The 5/16" is large enough to correct Nissan design flaw and you can still run the engine cover....Gary
Best bang for the buck. alot of people like the 5/16 because it has power through most of the rpm band. I personally went with the 3/8 but most of that power is in the higher rpms. my engine cover did rub a bit. I did not have have an upper strut bar. i would go spacer and z-tube (the stock intake is actually pretty good)
Personals preference and the type of weather you get. Search both of them and then just choose which one fits your needs the best...
Imo then just get the basic.
the basic one will basically be the same as the iso thermal? i dont mind paying a little more for a better product. Ive seen a lot of people say on these forums that you normally get what you pay for.
