Muffler delete is the popular option but it sounds *****. Someone on here mentioned replacing the cat with a HFC as the cat is the most restrictive part of the exhaust on the g35. I could be wrong can someone clarify this?

I mean for the time being because I don't have the money atm for HFC's.

I've heard a few clips on youtube and it doesn't sounds TOO bad but idk. I just want it to be a little louder especially for when im shifting.

I don't get how people don't already love the stock sound and would change it to some ricer sound. U kno Infiniti took away the famous vq sound on the g37 and owners wish they had the original sound back. Only way is to buy a factory option muffler to get the sound back for $800+

Try a headers back delete.

No don't get me wrong I love the sound of the stock exhaust, but in the drivers seat I can't really hear it unless I get on it.

Plus my window motors are both dead so I'm replacing those sunday morning before the rain storm next week.

I'll look up some videos of the headers back delete and see what that sounds like.

Just get an intake like a Stillen, or a pop-charger. Will have a better effect on "sound" from the driver's perspective and won't sound like rice.

I already have a Z-tube and popcharger. It has a nice sound when I'm accelerating but I'm talking more about the exhaust just being louder.

And I hear you about it sounding like rice lol.

My understanding is the Z1 headers are the same as the old Momentum Performance parts. I believe Z1 bought their molds/jigs/whatever that stuff is called.

Headers are a good idea to drop in since engine is out and easy to do.
