What do you think about the nismo exhaust?

Watched some videos, it sounds very nice. Has a louder deeper stock note.

And on sale for under $300

You don't want that exhaust
That's a knockoff of the HKS
Look at a used exhaust (see the thread highlighting the best for our cars also) or a new invidia is usually around $900 new shipped
They sound great Imo and are made much better than the one in that link

I really like the sound of the nismo exhaust.

Are you talking about the HKS muffler?

Hey brother, I have a g35 coupe that has everything except a built block. I started with an "Injen intake" and then a Stillen exhaust on up to TT, CJ fuel, HKS suspension etc.. to be 100% honest I noticed a bigger kick from my intake over my exhaust :-) Mine is a 2006, AT.. Im not sure if you said you had an intake? I can only tell you what I experienced with mine, But at that point then the intake was a huge diff! For about $250, and easy enough to install at home :-)), just my opinion, but I've owned my g for over 8 years now :-).

Yea it has a Z-Tube installed currently but stock air filter, I'm going to order a K&N filter asap.

With my current G, 03 sedan 5AT, I installed a CAI a little while back. It makes a small difference in performance given it was cheap af haha (fairlady z CAI) but it makes a nice sound up around 4500rpms.

Maybe after I save up after buying the 5/16 MD spacer I'll look into an injen intake.

Definetly going to get that spacer and filter in first especially considering they're both DIY.

After that, I really don't know what to do. I'm not looking to put too much money into this car YET What would you guys recommend? Maybe Kinetics HFC's? Read those are deeper and no rasp for a good bang for my buck.

I'll be going a slow route myself. After getting some basic maintenance done I'm going to work on some convenience mods and source an aero package. It has the nav package and I want to leave it looking as stock as possible so I'm going to leave the nav and bose in and just run an aftermarket amp and some decent speakers. Got to round up the grom aux adapter and that tvnav2go unit so I can have external audio input as well as hook up a rear view cam. Been playing with an idea to also do a front view cam for the bumper since parking can be sketchy with our low front end. The rear cam will come in handy at night after I tint the windows. All that should take about a year then I can start on some performance mods. Plenum spacer, ztube, k&n drop in, grounding kit, a TUNE, some Z springs, wheel spacers, and maybe a decent catback. Rims are the 19" Rays so I can't see doing anything there. So I have plenty to get accomplished.

Wait, you are willing to waste money on an aero package but not upgrading the stereo? Also, on what do you plan to view the front and rear camera images? The stock nav monitor does not have camera capabilities without major modification; you will indeed need to upgrade your stereo to a double din unit with a capeable monitor. Also, just leave the aero package behind. You're talking about .01 difference in drag coefficient.

lol..anything I spend on and enjoy is not considered a waste. I like the look if the aero package. That alone is reason enough for me. As far as the video interface..As much as you are around here I would think you would know this before some newb. Let this newb teach ya something..Read up and be amazed...

I was thinking about looking into an LED kit for my interior. Maybe white to accent the black interior and white exterior?

What is a good color do you think and what is a good manufacturer for LED kits?

I just order one online. DIODE DYNAMICS, is the only place to order any led bulbs :-)) Every single othe bulb I've ordered online has burnt out or started flickering with weeks/months.. So far I have yet to see anything from a diode dynamics bulb except perfect light! WORTH every penny, I promise :-))

I was looking at the stage 2 white LEDs.

http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/l...-coupe-led-kit

What is the difference between the white LEDs (4000k, 5000k, 6000k?)

Also for the bulb model, do we find this in the owners manual or where? Don't want to order the incorrect bulbs.

These are also DIY, correct?

The "K" is just the color of the light it emits :-)).. I have 6000k in mine, and it's like a bright white with a little blue tint to it :-)) it's not super blue, and not dull white :-)) Anything diode dynamics sells is the best! 3 year warranty no questions asked..
