What Mods to do?

If it is your first mod, I 100% suggest CAI first :-) I noticed more of a jolt to my G coupe from my $300 intake than my $1800 stillen exhaust! You'll need both eventually, But Start with a GOOD intake(that is tuned).. I used a "k&n" typhoon in mine.

The only jolt you noticed is that sweet sound enticing you to press the gas pedal harder.

My grounding kit is a great item for the "what to buy" list.

I have a group buy going on right now with a crazy price and there are only FOUR more spots available.

I am looking to be buying an 04 G35 with about 100,000kms on it and it is completely stock except for the Borla Exhaust system. It is also a pearl white colour and wheels will be soon to come. If I do end up purchasing this I just want to have a list of things to get done or maintain on it and don't know where to begin.

I've looked around a lot and seen the recommendation of motordynes 5/16 plenum spacer. So that'll be a definite buy but is the iso thermal copper spacer worth the extra 70 or 80? I do live in Canada and it can get quite cold up here. A new intake will be definitely needed as well but not to sure what to go with.

But besides that I'll have around 3,000 to spend on mods and maintenance. What're the first things you guys would recommend?

Thanks!

Edit: If I don't like the borla exhaust it'll probably end up being changed. Also if anyone knows a distinct way to tell a G35 Rev-Up edition apart from just a standard one let me know!

K & N typhoon in mine, made more of a difference than my $1800 Stillen dual wall exhaust! The typhoon costs more, but Made a big difference :-)

I'm not sure the power, but I know it would break the wheels loose on dry pavement and it didn't before :-))
