What's the difference between just a $500 Greddy exhaust then a $2500 Motordyne dual exhaust? Is it just sound quality or is there a significant hp gain? If theres not much more gain i rather put that money into a transgo and wiring for the triptronic

^Greddy makes different style exhausts so not sure which one you're referring to. Overall, the gain from a cat-back isn't going to be much despite the brand. Sound will be the biggest difference.

And here's the dilemma. I'm trying to retain close an OEM look which the Nismo does offer, but also trying to increase airflow to the intercooler and tranny/oil coolers. The Nismo inlets don't look much larger than stock. Still trying to decide if the Inven looks to "loud" or not.

Then kurookie would prob be a better choice for that no?
Nismo are a little larger. Inven are as well. for me, I felt that inven was too aggressive to rock with my OEM rays.. That's just in my case though.

This is a very good question/observation. The difference in HP is almost immeasurable. I just switched my stock muffler with a magnaflow, got rid of the resonator and it sounds sic as fug and revs WAY faster than stock. I can't justify an extra $2k for MAYBE 3 more HP.

+1 on the sound thing. Also MD quality is extremely good. Also since when did md exhaust hit 2500?! Last I checked it was right under 2k?!

The Kurookie/K2 would be best performance wise, I'm just not a fan of the way they look. Still trying to maintain somewhat of a sleeper status, hopefully...

True, but I don't plan on fabbing the kit as of now.

I will probably go with the Inven.

I was just going off the op price point. I've never priced them. Not sure.

I've never actually recorded sound clips. I will tomorrow morning tho! I'll post em up around noon. Can I do it without a YouTube account tho? Can I do it thru photo bucket?

Keep in mind too tho that I also have k&n, z-tube and 5/16 spacer which affect the sound greatly.

Last I checked the shockwave exhaust was around $1800 and the art pipes are around $500 plus I'm in Canada and after I convert that it's like 2800 ish lol. For no hp gains that ain't worth it to me. Unless I find a really good used one by someone reputable on here for a good price then that makes sense to me cause it does sound sick as fug !

Oh you'll have hp gains
No doubt about that. Full md setups just in themselves see some of the most hp gains.

Yeah art pipes will bump that price higher.
