04 G35 Coupe Black Obsidian 6MT / Brembo Brake Package
I have been searching everywhere using the search on her and on google with the site:g35driver.com. Just would like to see what are the best options for exhausts for G35 COUPE as all the damn searches brought me to the sedan section lmao. I like the stock sound of the exhaust so looking for something that is a little deeper and aggressive sounding... so far all I have is the megan cat-back exhaust?
If you have a 2006-2007 coupe with the 6MT make sure to verify you do NOT have RAS before ordering an exhaust system. Most of the true dual exhaust kits do NOT fit coupes equipped with Rear Active Steering.

I got a 2004, i've heard good stuff from the megan racing and the invidia gemini
So my next mod is sway bars and I have been looking through the forums and found some advise. I want to ask if anyone has tried Whiteline Sway Bars? I cant find any info on them here. If anyone knows about Whiteline sway bars or any other sway bars that are better, please let me know. I will be using my car for daily driving, autocross, and drifting. Also, any advice before I go for autocross? This is the kit im looking to buy, I have a deal on the kit for $460, it comes with both sway bars, both endlinks, bushings, and hardware.
Current mods:
2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT, Injen CAI, BC Coilovers, Motordyne 5/16 Spacer, MREV2, Shockwave TDX2 Catback, Aodhan DS02 19x9.5 Front and 19x11 Rear Wheels, Oil Catch Can
04 6mt Coupe - motordyne 5/16 ART pipes TDX2; KWv2; Hotchkiss; custom seats.

I haven't read much about Whiteline, except I have recall a good thread over at nico where someone from whiteline was responding to specific questions about spring rates for the z33 (same model)
I have read that some rear sways have fitment issues with aftermarket dual exhaust clearance on the passenger side so I would look into that. I think this is why Motordyne made a sway kit (discontinued) to clear the tdx2.
I'm currently trying to figure out if I am going to have any problems with my hotchkis rear sway and my tdx2, but have seen several signatures with both mods listed. I have an 04 and will probably go with the OE revised endlinks from 05+ coupe.

Yea there aren't many reviews on the Whiteline Sways and Endlinks. My first choice was Hotchkis too but I saw this deal for the sways, endlinks, and bushings and thought I might just get Whiteline.
I talked to Tony from Motordyne about a month ago and asked if there are any sway bars he recommends to fit with the TDX2 and he said they should all fit as long as they follow the same design as stock.
I'm new so bare with me. Can someone explain the spacer thing to me on what exactly its doing to create the horsepower, cause I'm perplexed on how a spacer is creating 8-10 hp.
Also anybody know where to get a oem Ztube for cheap haha.... I've been looking around and havent had much luck.
It’s just a spacer that goes in the intake and brings in more air. As u know more air means more fuel means power.
I installed some new mods and will be going to my first autocross event next month. I daily my car and will be going to autocross and drifting soon. I'm here for some advice for my next mods which could be:
1) Motordyne ART pipes - OEM headers
2) Motordyne ART pipes - Shorty headers (maybe Z1 headers)
3) Motordyne G37 Long tube headers - I might try to make them fit on my G35
4) Carbon fiber or aluminum single piece driveshaft (probably carbon fiber)
Anyone running a carbon fiber driveshaft on their G35? How much of a difference does it make?
I know there is an aluminum driveshaft for half the price, but carbon fiber is stronger and has less noise/vibrations.
Also, after I get the headers or test pipes, I am going to get a tune. Any mods you guys recommend getting before getting a tune?
Current mods (2006 Manual Infiniti G35 Coupe):
* Injen Cold Air Intake
* BC BR True Coilovers
* Aodhan Wheels: F19x9.5+15with 255/35 & R19x11+15 with 285/35
* Motordyne MREV2 Lower Intake Manifold
* Motordyne 5/16th Iso Thermal Plenum Spacer
* Motordyne TDX2 Shockwave Catback Exhaust
* Whiteline Lower Control Arm and Compression Rod Bushings
* Kinetix Camber Kit Front and Rear
* Akebono Big Brake Kit
* Z1 Brake Master Cylinder Brace
* Z1 Poly Transmission Mount
* Z1 25row Oil Cooler
* Z1 Mid Weight Flywheel, Clutch, and Pressure Plate
* Z1 Diff Upgrade: Poly Bushings, Upgraded Diff Cover, Diff Brace
* ISR Long SS Clutch Line
* Powergrid Adjustable Endlinks
* Hotchkis Adjustable Sway Bars
I know the ART pipes are amazing, I have heard them on a different G35 with the shockwave. The main reason I haven't gotten the ART pipes yet is because of tuning and which parts I needed to replace/upgrade at the moment.
@Urbanengineer what do you think of Motordyne G37 Long tube headers on my G35? I have seen you in a bunch of posts on G35driver so you may have some insight on this idea. Tony from Motordyne does not know if they fit and he said I could test fit them to see if they would. My concern is that long tubes might be a bit too much, noise wise, for a daily drive car. But, I am planning to eventually turn this G into a track car and weekend only fun car.
