What are my first few steps?

Don't cry too hard, I had 315 ft/lbs of torque in a 5-speed in college. Your parents know what they're doing for you

Let's say I had to beg for tire money, and that was on 225/60/16's, not to mention the tickets

Most are doing intake (ztube + good filter) and plenum (5/16ths for autos) and then it cranks up pricing for either exhaust or suspension, or you can jump right to poorsville and rims or lowering.

College isn't the place to drop TOO much on a car, IMO. Other priorities, man!

This is true, but when your G35 is whooping GT Mustangs, all the *** comes your way

Quick question...If I do Tanabe DF210 lowering springs, 1.7 front/1.3 rear, will I have to upgrade the cambers as well? Or anything else for that matter?

What to buy?

I have an 07 coupe auto with sport suspension package. What do I do to upgrade power, etc with $2500? Thanks.

Start with the basics... get some more air in and out efficiently.. intake, and exhaust.. then id go with the plenum spacer.. and cobb tuning makes a chip if you wanna have that added then a dyno.. thatd probably be your best bet with your budget and its the most effective IMO

Question want to make a few mods on my g35 could use some guidance

Hey everyone,
I recently got a 03 black G 6mt, im looking do a few mods right now its bone stock, ive just changed all brembo pads and sythetic oil, so its ready to go has not even hit 40,000 miles. I would like to get a intake but I want something that is worth my while, from the research ive done to get anything out of your intake system you have to tune your car, so my question is what is the best way to go about doing this tune the car and get a intake or buy an intake without a tune. From my understanding the ztube is a good set up but i really just want to do it right the first time.

Im also looking around to get a set of rims, I would like to get black rims with around a 1 1/2" to 2" lip, im up for any suggestions.

Also any other modifications that do not require taking apart the motor im willing to try out, I definatley want to do things myself and slowly work my way into things. If anyone could give me some insight on these issues i would really appreciate it, especially the intake because I haven't got a straight answer on that.

thanks,

Taylor
