I have had my stock 2006 g35 (base model) for about a year now.

While it's quite quick, sexy, etc I want to make it my own. I like clean lines, clean colors etc.

My first priority is to upgrade what's under the hood though.

What are my first few steps?

(PS. My g is an automatic. Even though I'm in college, and paid every last cent for my car, my parents still forced an automatic on me).

Any help would be awesome.

So i just picked up an 03 coupe. Its got gold volk racing wheels, hks headers, full exhaust, cold air intake, and thats about it. what kind of mods would be best for me to do next that will eventually lead into a supercharger.

Have about 1900 for mods. There's a pic of my car in here:
https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...-new-rims.html

Since then I have tinted the windows. I want to lower the car, but not sure if I want to spring for coilovers (no pun intended). I was thinking about some Eibach Pro's, but was worried about premature tire wear from improper toe/camber.

I was thinking about going the performance route with my funds. I really like the sound of the stock exhaust, & would just like something to get a little louder. I've read that ART Test Pipes are good at improving performance and keeping the stock sound, so I was thinking about these. Are there any other good bang for buck mods I should look into?

Any other suggested mods?

Thanks

EDIT

After reading more, I read the a 4.083 FD is a good option, however I am considering going TT when the funds allow so idk. Berk HFC's / Art Test pipes seem to be popular. Are there any other mods that are good supplements to these? Anything that works synergistically that I have not stumbled on yet?

I'm thinking this is going to provide more air flow to the intercoolers, so I'm not being vain - it's a performance mod for me!

If you're interested in the group buy - click the link in my sig.

hey guys im pretty new to the whole g35 scene i just got an 03 coupe about 2 months ago and now i think its time for some mods.

what i was leaning towards first was the sound system. dont get me wrong, the stock bose system kicks a** but im just looking for more.

what subs/amps do you recommend? im only 19 so money is tight so im not looking for anything too pricey. i dont really know much about any of this who sound system get up, but if you have any suggestions just let me know thanks guys!

Quandry...

I've ordered...

1. Grounding Kit (Gordon)
2. MD 5/16ths Plenum
3. Z-Tube (K&N was installed on purchase day).

So, I'm either looking at MD sway bars or a set of HFC's. Price is ballpark the same, so it's not the easiest choice. My questions...

1. With a 2007 Sport, are the sway bars a huge improvement over the stock "sport" ones?

2. If I get HFC's, then I'll most likely get a tune and leave HP mods alone, finishing up that category. So it's a 2 step gain / gain, about how much though?

Anyway, I'm not necessarly asking what mod to get, but more of what gains I'll get with each and then I'll decide what route to go.

Thanks in advance, guys (and gals).
