Yea man if you bought a car for the horsepower you bought the wrong one... as well as I've found you have figure out how to drive these cars and you'll "feel" it.

i have an 03 and was wondering if you considered supercharging it? i wondered if an 03 with 65k+ miles is still worthy of putting another $8-10k. i always ask myself how much longer will a stock engine run well to and also with a SC.

youve gotta pay to play with this car.
if you dont have deep pockets and care about straight line performance you should have gotten something else.

you get a spacer and an intake and its not what you expected and you want to get another car? maybe you had your hopes too high, while those do provide gains i dont know how you can be dissapointed unless you set your bar too high

Sell it and buy a 350z. Or buy a WRX STI, those cars rock. Our cars are more of a lxury-cruiser type of car. I feel ya as dar as getting bored. I've been on this website since 2K3 and learned a lot about the car before taking the dip. I figured I wanted at least a 2K6 snce it had all of the upgrades that I wanted and felt that I needed in this car. I also love Bimmers but, my mechanic has several customers that have drive them, he has warned me about costly repairs when they're out of warranty. Life is too short, drive what you want. I know I do.

The lure of more Horsepower is an expensive habbit.
What is your ultimate goal? 800HP?
Reliability?
Handeling?

Take a look at the car and I am sure you can determine how much bang for the buck you are going to get with the G35.

Or just buy a GTR. with the ammount of money people pay for thier G35 and then go FI you could have bought yourself a GTR.

I just have to ask how do people afford it? I know everyone is not paying cash for thier G's and then a year later getting FI?

You have a lot more to go as long as you have enough fund.
Did you RESET your ECU after spacer(not REFLASH).
Intake don't do much for our cars so if you hoped you gain some power from Stillen intake you will be disapointed.
Spend money on test pipes or high flow cats.
Those will give you some nice gain.

I WISH!!! but my damn insurance will jump from $800 to $1200. Plus its another 20grand.

I've had the intake and spacer for a while now, i never reset the ECU cuz it will eventually start to learn and adjust to it. I've had it for about a year now. It was great at first, the car pulled a bit more harder than usual. but then it just feels a bit heavy.

I read that our seats are REAL heavy. its the heaviest thing inside our cars so replacing it should free up a good amount of HP.

G35 is a sweet looking ride which is why i bought it, my gf really likes the car. But it would be nice to have a car that has something to boast about. like say you have a 03 s2k, u can boast saying u got 9k rpms. or you can say you have a supra which can easily output 600hp. Or an Evo or STI which u can say is FASTTTTT. What does the g35 have?

Man i gotta stop b*tching, the G35 can beat alot of cars out there.

i think a turbo would be alittle better. with an SC you'll have to buy a new hood which is more $$$$. plus its not as reliable as turbo. my friend supercharged his celica GTS and they say its reliable but there are so many belts in there that keep slipping so most of the time its in the shop getting fixed.

So if i go F/I i'll go twin turbos. or single...which ever is cheaper lol! course i rather get a car that is already F/I and mod the hell out of it. and you'll still have money to take ur girl out to a steak dinner.

Honda Accord
Why would you need a new hood... unless you're really in love with the Faillen super charger.

lol, at least do some research about fi stuff before posting about how you need new hoods if you SC your car, and how SCs are unreliable because your friend has had problems with belts on his celica?
