Re: A G dies a horrible death

Alright guys sorry my title was misleading LOL.

Anyway I know they were racing becasuse I can hear them count down. What I meant with casual take off was that the guy in the G did not brake torque and in a race with an auto car that will kill acceleration. Anyway I know the SLK is slow no matter how much it weighs and I was exhagerating the weight. The guy did not know how to drive.

Re: A G dies a horrible death

I was with rob when we saw the race. There could be 3 major factors the effected the G loss.
1) He probably had 89 or 87 gass.
2) Traction control might have been on
3) He just simply didnt know how to drive.

The reason i say this because i raced my friends G35 sedan Auto some time ago with my 04 Maxima i smoked him soo bad from the start to prbably in the middle of second gear that there was no point to take it higher speeds. He had 89 gass in his car, Didnt know how to drive, and he had his traction on so when he floored it (which he is not supposed to do) the car just stopped untill traction control completed the job. So i suppose that the same thing happened to the guy with G coupe.

MAYBE you think it was G35 Coupe, MAYBE it could be Hynd. Tiburon... some ppl get confused between G35 C and Tiburon at the far distance..... never know

We were not far behind him in fact I was about two cars back. I know they went up to about 80 cause I paced behind them, not that the 3 can keep up but still.
