Re: Car in port

I have the vin# and my salesman tells me that the car is at the port, but for some reason it's going to take another 12 days to get it to the dealership, which is in NJ and only about 50 miles away from the port.

Re: Car in port

the cars have to unload from the ship which is a huge project cause their are so many in the boat. the first time i saw the boat i actuallly thought it was a building, and then a few days later the building was gone and i was like ???. i work right at the elizabeth seaport in jers. the cars usually sit around for about a week or two and arrive about once every 6 weeks. they have to clear customs first and all kinds of other good stuff the government makes you do. its pretty cool, cause i get to see all the new infinitis that come out before most people. havent seen any g's that look different, so the 05's arent here yet.

Re: Car in port

Well I ordered mine back on April 7th and I'm still waiting. It was supposed to come in on July 5th, but then got delayed to July 23rd, and now they're telling me that because of the back-ups at the port it's going to be July 29th....they said they're going to try their best to have it to me by this Friday...hopefully they will be able to pull that off.
The wait is killing me, especially since I got rid of Acura CL-S back in June, given that my G35c was supposed to come in on July 5th.

Re: Car in port

Hey SM16... There's a meet coming up on Aug.14 in NJ... If you get your by then... come on out and meet some other fellow G's if you'd like.

The wait is the hardest part... I think a lot of us here have stories of wait. I personally had to wait 2 months for mine. But trust me, it's worth the wait. The first time you decide to go FULL throttle... look in the mirror, and notice the ear to ear grin... =D I still get a kick out of it...

Good luck with you G.

I'd definitely be down for that. Let me know the time and place and should be able to make it.....that's if I get my G by then :-(
