The major differences in rotors are the quality and chemical composition of the iron used in rotors not to mention the heat isolation channels between the rotor plane and the hat.
Unfortunately RETAIL price is not the way to decide quality.
Avoid China and Asia[except Japan], Mexico.......they use our scrap iron and density is quite low.
Why type G7 or G10 Gray Cast Iron

Weight [heavier is better] and xray crystalography are to appropriate methods.

Here are the ones on ebay, they are 297$ and don't know their quality! I couldn't imagine them being that bad.

IF WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS QUALITY AND NOT JUST PRICE, I WILL RECOMEND YOU (IF YOU ARE RUNNING BREMBO OEM CALIPERS) TO ORDER BREMBO DRILLED ROTORS FROM "OPTIONS AUTO SALON". THEY RUN AROUND 350-380$

i've actually narrowed down to STOPTECH rotors. i got a good deal on them 390 shipped.
now all i have to do is decide if i want cross drilled or slotted. So far someone suggested slotted since NYC weather is not always the best in winter.
what you guys think????

This is posted in the wrong forum, should be in wheels, tires, brakes & suspension. But, anyway, I posted this on the 12th, in the correct forum, and got zero hits????
