Extended warranty?

Do you think this is a good deal for an extended warranty?

4year/60k additional miles:
$142.20 down 17 monthly payments $75.28

OR
5year/70k additional miles:
$176.20 down 17 monthly payments $93.28

If you want to make payments on it, then yes. The only upside to that is that when you sell the car you don't have to worry about the fact that you paid the warranty up already. However I've always liked paying it in full upfront. I wouldn't want to tack on more of a monthly payment.

Are you really going to keep the car that long? If you are then yes it is great but if you mod your car meaning stereo, or anything engine or exhaust wise, I would make sure the warranty covers it. Most cover OEM equip only including stereo. The cars are notorious for window motors and locks needing replacement. Stereo too with some cars and the clutch as well with manuals ( smoking your tires will do that ). Is this through Infiniti?

looks like u already put some mods in ur car. i'm pretty sure that just threw u off da warranty. if u have mods or if u r going put mods i don't think its worth it.

wow I just bought my 04 G35c with 45K and my 3yr/36K mile warranty was 1600 with $0 deductible. Your quotes are pretty darn cheap. I wish I can get a 50K warranty. BTW i went with IWS.

Does anyone know of any good national 3rd party warranties? Reason I went with IWS was because they were through my credit union.

here is a follow up when asking about deductible, coverage, and aftermarket items

This is with a $50 deductible. Yes, it is bumper to bumper. It mirrors the original factory warranty.

The aftermarket items will not void the warranty but the warranty would not cover any repairs on the aftermarket parts.

Extended Warranty....only if

I bought the Infiniti extended warranty when I decided to keep my G and paid cash so I'm not getting another monthly bill. If the plan is to keep your car it's a good to have the warranty, one tranny would pay for the warranty....just one!
