Ask anyone who turbo'd their ride and accidentally put regular fuel on the car. Engine went BOOM.
You haven't read anything I put either...

Pretty much sums it up. Some people think their understanding of octane physics is greater than that of the engineers at Nissan. Good for them. Might as well get the cheapest motor oil and cheapest gasoline available. Car will run either way. I have nice sporty cars because I like to have a little fun sometimes and for that fun to be fully realized, premium is required. Some people just want a nice looking car but would rather spend their money on lattes and cocktails which just literally gets pissed away.

It's their car and this is one of the reasons I prefer not to buy a used vehicle.

First, I only use premium in my G...

Second.... I only use Regular in the loaner I get from Infiniti.... I am pretty sure there are a LOT of people doing the same.... last time I checked... the loaners I have had have never had an issue with knocking...

Maybe it isn't a big deal... either way, can't we all just get past this?!?!

We don't need premium in our cars. Our car's compression isn't high enough to require premium to curb detonation.

The fact that "Premium Gas" is written is in below our gas cap is irrelevant -- it does not raise engine temps. Infiniti probably writes "Premium" for marketing purposes.

It actually says "Premium Fuel Only". "Only written" there for marketing purpose? LOL.

So, when u buy a burger patty, and it recommends that you cook the meat thoroughly and wash you hands after do you just ignore it, because it's just jibberish? LOL Tapeworms for the win.

^So, if some disgruntled worker at Nissan Motors decided to write, "Kill yourself now by leaping off the nearest building," you'd do it because it's written there?

You should be creative -- Dive headfirst or something. The object here is to kill yourself.
