i drive a JDm 350gt. i think mine was the last few batches of the CPV35. 2006 model.
i believe the JDM models are all 280hp non rev up models. the LSD is a VSLD.
JDm specs differ slightly, i believe we have folding mirrors, alcantra leather, our car remote sensor is located in the rear view mirror ( meaning the electrical wiring differs fromt eh g35s - i found this out after installing a homelink mirror - had to relocated the sensor) , and a few others differences. and ECU is tuned for different octane, no tpms , i think our dash shows HICAS instead of RAS? , radio frequencies are catered to *** freq, so it doesn't cover entire range( they had to add a device to bump all freq by 12mhz i think but i went after market audio after a while)
here i have 92/95/98 octane gas - and i only pump 98 cause i am running a e-manage ulti and it is tuned for 98 fuel.
i believe certain things cannot be used in the japan cars, ( cobb access stuff, techno square reflash , etc bascially tuning stuff due to different fuel )
but if you are looking at the g37 coupe, 370gt , then i got bad news, the entire nav system and wordings are all in ***, think there is not way to display in english if you get it 100% JDM .. that is the downside therefore not many people are buying the 370gt here locally due to this problem.

^ good info
so mechanically they should be more or less identical.
it is the electrical and accessories that differ slightly
hope this helps, OP

My understanding is that in japan there were no sport, aero etc packages. Theres either auto or manual, and premium or non premium.
2003/04 models. All 6MT = brembos and 18" wheels.
2005/06 models. No brembos, but all 6MT = 19" wheels. Supposedly makes slightly more power but i cannot verify this. The engine cover has a black symbol instead of red
None come with the "rev-up".
LSD was not standard. I believe it was an option. If you have access to the particular vehicles buid plate then there will be a string of characters that you can decode to find out. There is a website somewhere, i just cant find it at the moment.
Premium models come with half leather half suede seats, a bose stereo and controls on the steering wheel. The TV/Navi thing is an option.
Other options include sporty steering wheels and sunroof.
There is also a 40th anniversary special, which is the only one to come with a full leather interior and unfortunately an ugly cream coloured dash.
