Sorry to here that man WOW I just pulled off 130mph for about 2 hours on the way to frsico over the Holiday weekend so I guess I should be happy. But you should be happy because I hear that over 100mph is a felony. Hope you can get it cleared up tho. Did you ask the cop to show you the readar or somekind of proof?

Jbaggy, keep us up to date on the outcome for this thread. I make that high-speed run to San Francisco all the time so it would be nice to know how to handle something like this if I ever encounter similar circumstances...Thanks!

Man that sucks. I got a ticket for going 78 in a 35. I wish i had gotten a better lawyer because he really screwed things up for me and i haven't had my court date yet. He said that either 250 and 2 days in jail to get it taken off my record or a $500 fine.... and higher insurance premiums... it sucks!

Sorry hoshtaylor, but there is no Modesto County in California and I5 doesn't go through Modesto. Hwy 99 goes through Modesto and you would never go that way to SF from SD.
I hope I am as lucky to get to go to traffic school for a ticket that is at least 20 miles over the speed limit. The max on I5 is 75mph anywhere in california.

Ouch! Good luck. V1 is pretty helpful on I5 because there aren't any automatic doors to trip off the sensor. My v1 picked up 2 CHPs hiding behind a bridge couple month ago. However, I was only doing 70. hahah Consider the only time I speed is around the corners I promptly returned the v1. In cities V1 cries wolves all the time even when set to L mode. I have gotten so many false Ka(s) and a couple Lasers.

 

Too bad it wasn't Florida. My dad was driving my G to the port in GA but he was running late. I called him & told him to get moving. He got busted doing 118 in a 70. Ticket was $280 - that's it. But I paid the ticket since he was doing me a favor...
