I am trying to trade in 04 to 05 because i want stock nav, graphite leather, and it is just 05 ! Is it worth doing that i have
04 blk/wil. Any color recommdation for 05?

 

And next year you will trade for a 2006. If you want to spend the x-tra money, its up to you.

Your 2004 has already depricated and you are not going to get back what you paid for it. The 2005 prices have not been announced but I am sure there will be no discounts for a while. Why dont you take the $$ you would have to shell out and do some mods?

if all you want is the stock nav and graphite leather, then why not just trade for another non-2005 with those options? you probably won't have to wait as long either since it seems like there are a lot of coupes (somewhat new) for sale.

Good to see I am not the only one contemplating this move.

My reasons are a bit different though. I went with the 04.5 AT for city driveability and so my wife could drive the car if needed. Well, in six months she has driven the car twice. Only one time was really needed.

I am thinking of going with an 05 6mt sport with Nav. Nav is the only option I left off my coupe. Anyway, I'll take the hit if it is not TOO bad, but if they ask me to bend over and pick up the soap for them... then my 04.5 AT will do me just fine :P

I too am looking to get the new ' 05 model. ATs are suppose to be out by October and 6MTs are due out December. i called my local Infini dealer last month and they said it would be about a 2% increase - $700 dollars.

 

You can get a really nice aftermarket NAV system for $2k or less.....

Is the getting an 05 that appealing? I agree another 15 bhp on the 6MT is cool, and 19" forged wheels is also freakin fantastic... However.. It's nothing that you can't add? You can buy the new OEM 19"s if you really wanted .. and an intake / exhaust free-ing mod should give you way more than 15 bhp. All that being said .. I wonder how good the new gearbox is going to be .. But the thing is .. we can complain and make our gearboxes have problems right now.. and get them to give us the new one. =)

It's not worth doing IMO. You're going to take a big depreciation hit on the 04, the 1st yr is the biggest resale value loss for cars.

 

I just called my local dealership, they said it's going to be a "Feb. release" for the 6MT, marked as an '06, and followed by the new M45. Is this true? Thanks

if you are serious about trading up, you must be well off. or, just take out one year leases if they can be had.

every year, there will an improvement of somesort.
