rear suspension "sounds"

2005 g35 coupe auto. When i go over a bump it sounds like something is loose/rattles. Only hear the sound when my windows are down. Dealer checked and could not find anything wrong. Has any one had this problem...and what is the fix/issue??

I think we have same problem, but I might be wrong.. BUT for me Everytime I shift from R to D.. then like around 10 feet and so theres a click sound from the rear suspension.. But i Ignore it since my Dealer and Myself lift the car and check for some loose bolts.

rear suspension sounds

The bolts are tight,no problem with an alignment so it's all working correctly. I will try looking at it when it's on a hoist next.

crazy...i actually found this thread while searching for the same exact problem. i only hear the noise when my windows are down as well. it seems to only be a problem when i am going over bumps or small holes on the road. when i do, it sounds like something is loose or is hitting something else metallic.

i am going in to the dealership this friday for an alignment...i'll ask them and see if they can identify the problem.

You guys might want to search for "rear axle click". Sounds like this may be your problem. Fixed under warranty if you still have one.

you might have slack in the ebrake, needing adjustment.

do you have shims on your rear pads?
