Car pulling to the Right

I searched but couldn't find the answer. I bought the forged rims and put them on my car today. All of a sudden my car began to pull to the right. Would i need an alignment? Im thinking no because it wasnt doing this before i had the old wheels on. Could the wheels need to be balanced? or did i put them in the wrong direction. and honestly i don know how to tell which direction they should go in. Any help would be good thanks!

id allign it .. unless you have the same exact wheel specs as your old (which i doubt) and the same exact tire specs, then you wouldnt need to allign it, even if you did id still recommend allinging it .. double check your tire pressures and get it alligned .. as for direction of the tires, show us a pic, we cant see .. we cant help

Some tires have an arrow on the outside of the tire showing the direction of rotation. My g35 pulled to the right when I bought it in 03. There was a compression rod TSB that fixed the issue. Since your problem just came about, I have no ideas what it could be. GL.

It's an alignment issue. Also, if one tire is more worn out than another (a significant wear), it will do the same.

Definitely alignment but I'd also be concerned about how the tires were mounted. And, did they remove the alignment studs from the disc housing when they installed your new wheels? Three areas in question....

No fat chicks at all. I installed the new wheels myself using the correct pattern
before I had the old wheels on it never pulled to the right at all or anything. I really don't see how to check the directions of the tires. So I'm thinking it's that what's causing me to pull to the right whenever I let the wheel go. Another thing is when I'm braking now it pulls to the right very hard now

Do you really need a alligntment after you change rims? I thought it was only nessacary to get it done after you lower your car?

My car does the same thing. I got the alignment done over the weekend and it still does it some, but not as bad.

This same exact thing is happening to me. Goodyear apparently said it was the right front lower control arm that was bent and I needed it replaced.....I had actually just put coilovers in and put my 20's back on.....Now I think they're jipping me. I have an 03 G35 if that helps any.

Any time you change the spec of your car you should have an alignment... Changing times and rims can throw off your alignment due to reasons as stated above: Pressure, Mounting, Tire circumference, tire wear, etc.
When changing rims its usually not a huge issue as if you were changing the height of your car but you'll still notice a problem if its not to spec. When you change the height it usually just throws toe/camber/align out of spec significantly over say a new set of tires or rim.
