I bought my G35 Coupe - in 2005. I still remember the first day the sales-men turned started her up.. I thought to myself - wow.. I own that!
Apx. 2-3 weeks ago - I was driving southbound and a Mazda driving in the opposite direction (northbound) - decided to make a left turn into my vehicle.
That was it. 4 years later.. and that was it. I can't complain, the 70,000 km i put on her - were amazing.
I cannot count the amount of BJ, and action that I had with that car. But now I've moved on - I've bought a 2010 Camaro - Yeah.. a GM. But, I own part of the company like most of you here so .. what are you gonna do?
I am not going to lie - I miss her. She was my first car, and boy was she amazing!
I have winter rims and tires (apx. 30,000 km driven) that I am looking to sell. Also, I had just purchased Tein Tech, H-Tech springs for a luxury drop - brand new, never got to install them, but was going to do so this summer.. errrr!
To all those that have G35, i.e. Batman - I hope you all continue to enjoy your vehicle. With that said.. Rick's Coupe is out of here!
Maybe one day - I'll own the G37 convertible?

Thx. for the support guys, espicially FranCyx - my thoughts exactly after the accident.
The Camaro's are not over sticker price right now - but I have heard rumors of some dealers pushing them over sticker price.
My G35 was coming off of a lease and I was going to buy it out - but after the accident .....
So, I just recently ordered the Camaro - but its a 3-4 month wait..:S I will post pics when I get the car in late August/Sept. Cyber Metallic Grey - with Black Racing Stripes. I'm satisfied, but not as happy as I was on that bright summer day - back in 2005.

Sorry about your loss, but I don't know what the all hype over the Camaro is about.
GM never fails to make sh1tty cars. They have already issued a recall on the 2010 Camaro..
"GM's much awaited 2010 Chevrolet Camaro has only been on dealership floors for a few weeks but the car has already suffered its first recall due to an exposed power cable. The issue lies in the V8 Camaro's battery, which in some cars has been experiencing short circuits due to the exposed cable. The V6 models are unaffected.
The faulty battery may prevent the Camaro from starting up, cut off power during driving, or even spark a fire in the engine compartment. GM is warning all Camaro drivers not to drive their vehicles and that dealers will provide courtesy vehicles until the cars have been repaired.
In the meantime, owners can opt for a temporary fix by wrapping the affected cable in special electrical tape, which can be done at most dealerships. Otherwise, they will have to wait until GM comes up with a permanent fix for the problem.
The news doesn't bode well for one of GM's most anticipated cars of the year, especially with the carmaker announcing recently that is ramping production of the rejuvenated muscle car to meet demand. Furthermore, there are claims the car’s front bracket can suffer minor cracks when the car is taken up to speeds in excess of 155mph, however, GM is yet to confirm if this is a widespread issue or just an isolated one."

Oh man, sorry to hear about LIZ! GM does make a few nice cars, my wife and I have been driving Vettes since the mid '60. Yea, we've had a few issues but nothing to make me say "I'll never buy another!" If the cable is the only recall on the '10 Camaro consider it very well made. First year cars are quite often a major PIA. Good Luck with your new ride....
Shame you couldn't have waited for the Z28, lighter and faster than any Mustang or the fat azz Challanger. (4100 lbs) LOL
