Finally gettin a G

Hey guys,

So i've been looking to get a G for a few months now and am finally in a good enough financial situation to get one. I've been reading posts left and right searching for a while but still had some questions.

I decided i want to go turbo with my G and still keep it a reliable daily driver hopefully with a modest 400 whp/wtq

So my question is what year G is best for this? I originally wanted an 05+ for the rev-up engine and i was just gonna do bolt ons to it and call it a day. But i cant really find any for cheaper than 20k. Now i know i can get an 04 for nearly 5k less than that, is it worth the 5k for the rev-up engine or would you say forget it and get a 04 and put the extra 5k towards parts?

Also before i turbo the car would you recommend i do the bolt ons to it, or does it not make a difference which i do first?

thanks

That if close to CT. Brand new engine yet cheaper than others. Certified. Perfect if you wanted to go FI as you know engine hasnt had previous boost adn internals can handle it.

Why dont you check out craigslist? i was able to find my G on there for a hell of a lot cheaper than I ever found a car on autotrader

Im in VA but am definitely willing to drive as far northwest as MI or south as FL if i can find that perfect G I've been searching Craigslist and auto trader for maybe 2 months now but just recently started looking for 04's. After seeing the price difference and deciding FI is what i want I feel like a 04 with low miles and a well taken care engine is what im goin for. My limit is like 22000 so if i can get a 04 at like 16 or 17 theres that much more to put towards a turbo/rims/a drop etc.

Shop around a little more. I bought an 05 last month with 52k miles for only 17.4k.
