Need help asap, i blew my motor?

Alright guys my motor had 138,000 on it and it blew on the way home on the highway. Now i need a motor asap. But i found a 2005 rev up motor with 500 miles. I have a 03, so would i have to get a new engine harness and a ecu? I asked the guy if it had oil consumption but he said no, is there any way i could tell so i dont get screwed? He said the motor was for his 280z project and he modified one valve cover for the intake he had for it? What do u guys think? Plz need help asap thx guys

Some Help....=)

With only 500 miles on the engine how would he know if it has OC issues or not? OC doesn't occur until several thousand miles when the rings begin to fail. You'd be better off with an '04 motor with 25K on the clock just to know you won't have the REVUP motor issues!

Well if anyone has a legit motor for sale let me know. Does a 350z motor fit in a g35 with no problems, and everything is the same ecu and harness. Thx

Yes the 350z motor will fit no problem, you will not need a harness or ecu as you can retain yours that is still in the car. I would spend no more than 1500$ on the motor.

With some effort?

perfectly fine running long blocks for 800$? You could have taken them to any salvage yard for at least 1500$-$2000 each. Next time you have a running longblock for 800$, send me a pm.

I'll trade them for core charges all day long!
