How are Gs against Evos?
How are Gs against Evos?
I'm trying to decide whether I want a G or an Evo. But I can't seem to do it. I love the G and how it looks, the interior, the comfort, but I keep being told the Evo is faster. Is that true? Stock vs stock which one get's a better 1/4mile time? Thanks for any info.

I like my G but sometimes I wish I had gotten an EVO
but Im not regretting it at all
the G is a great car and will last long
the evo is a 4 cylinder turbo charged engine and if your getting it used that poor little motor is going to be taking a beating
so its up to you EVO 9's look good

... well, it depends on the year and model of the cars, who's driving, surface they're being driven on...
You can find 0-60, 1/4mile times in many websites like Car & Driver, Edmunds...
.. I wouldn't choose between 2 cars because one is "faster"...

The evo rapes the G speed wise. It is always super easy to add more power, it isn't on the G.
BUT, the interior isn't comfy, it's loud and it's not really a nice driving environment.
If you want to race every civic that pulls up at a light and kill it, get the evo.
If you want to laugh a civic drivers reving at you then drown out their fart cannon with your sick sounding exhaust. You want the G.
Not to confuse you, but have you looked at STIs?

Put it like this. I have a friend who dumped 10k in his 06' evo and he's putting 640 on the ground with pump gas. Dump 10k into a G and see what it gets you....It all depends on what you want bro. Luxury or Race?
