What is up with my passenger door? Need help

When it gets really cold outside, my passenger side door lock does not work, when it warms up it then works fine.

Also when the passenger door is open, the window sometimes does not work and the window switch on the door makes this buzzing weird sound.

The weird thing is that when the door is closed, the window switch works fine.

I am confused.

^^ if you thing its strong enough to get something loose just check it.

besides i think you should just take off the panel and check for any loose wiring.

because if its still working it shouldn't be hard to fix it.

what he said ^. double check it, you could have bounced something out of place. maybe you damaged a wire or some of the parts. sounds like you could have just bumped something while you installed the new speakers ex: wires etc, now you just have a loose connection.

You think you have problems, join me in Winnipeg where i struggled to close the door a couple times b/c it was so cold outside, i think i had ice or something in there, which is odd, because it had been just as cold for 3 days before that, and i hadn't washed the car for 5 days, and i dried it well then? whatever.

^no not on 03's Bose was an option.

And check the actuators/mechanism, it could be going bad. Maybe get a replacement to cure the issue.

damn, now the lock failed 100%, hot or cold, nothing. I am going to try that $5 door lock fix. I like the fact that you do not have to gain access to the original actuator . My whole door is dynamated so it would be a big bitch to remove that stuff.
