Jack the front end up and slide the ramps under the wheels, then lower and remove the jack. Presto! Ramps are much safer and sturdier than jacks IMO. Don't forget to chock the rear wheels, too.

I just changed oil/filter/air filter/cabin filter and spark plugs - wow it makes huge difference... it took me 3 hours, while in these I cleaned throttle/butterfly too... ... all done did not get my hands oily because I use gloves... I am done for a while for 2010... happy new year... it's fun and satisfaction of doing own work... and knowing it's done right.

Had a Gf 15 years ago that had a BMW, 3 series with all maintenance done at the dealer. I asked for the keys to check everything before driving out of town. After arguing several minutes, finally gave them to me. D@mn dealership only put one quart last time they did the oil change. Apparently the didn't have the righ filter so, after draining the oil, they just decided to put the old filter back on and not fill it with oil again.
Now guys you go figure if you want those type of @sswipes cahnging the oil in your $30-40K car. I think I'll pass.
You don't need any ramps to change the oil in our cars. You can use an inexpensve hydraulic jack (which you should already have to change a tire when needed), and it does take some time to unscrew that 24 or so screws that the undercarriage has. That part is what takes the most time.

Ok, so I'll answer my own question. OC Nissan has a VIP promotion: $50 for 3 oil changes (within a year) with a free hand car wash. With tax and everything it's less than $20 per oil change.
