By any chance, did any of you guys purchase a heat reflector for the front windshield? I remember seeing a link somewhere to purchase it, but I cannot find it anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a front windshield heat reflector? It would be amazing if there is a clear heat reflector from the front windshield. It is getting freakin hot out here in LA.. and in SF!

Well, if you want clear, I believe there are clear tints that reduce infrared radiation and UVA/UVB in the car. I'm not looking for that though, I'm looking for the one that actually reflects off of the reflector pad.. the one that you place in the front once you leave the car..

Your dealer should sell a sunshade called the HeatShield, usually it’s about $25. They’re cut to fit the G’s front window and are definitely worth the investment. We have one for every car we own.

got mine from grubbs. one of the most useful items i've bought for my car.

 

Got from grubbs too.. Nice item.. combined with the Huper Optik Tints, and my car is nice even with all the windows closed and sunroof closed. If you leave sunroof on tilt, it's damn nice in there after a long hard day.

damn you're right, it's impossible to find anything on this new site layout they have.

I don't have it anymore, but the box that my windshield heat reflector had a small advertisement for another website that you can buy it from.

If anyone else knows it, maybe they can chime in?

I'll try to look for that box when I get home from work, but I'm pretty sure I threw it away, sorry.

scroll down until you see"g35" on the right side of the screen. click it, and you'll see the heat shield.

It's called the HeatShield and I have one for each of my cars. They are custom cut to fit each model/make and work much better than the generic accordion or expanding loop type reflectors. It stays in place without having to flip down the sun visors.
