Hi, Whats the diff between the 4 different model designations? I saw someone said that 04 and 04.5 has only emissions diff..but what about 03, 03.5 and 04?

from the 03 to the 03.5....I know that the center armrest area was changed from having a flat container area to an armrest and cupholders. Can't really think of anything other than that. There used to be huge posts about the difference so maybe a small search would help.

if ur talkin about the coupe..there was only 1 version and its the 03..except for the 05 model coming out

Now if ur talkin about the sedan..then there was an 03..03.5 and 04 version.. If so, then I will have to move this thread..

i am talking about the coupe itself, but heard tons of ppl on this boatd talk 03.5 04 04.5 etc..so i was assuming there might be difference..

so what you are saying the car that came in dec 02 is the same as in sep 04? without any changes?

 

The main difference between the 04 and 04.5 coupe is the emissions. The 04.5s are ULEV2, earlier models are not. There are also other minor changes - the auto shift **** is the only one I can think of riight now.

The reason why people keep distinguishing between the different build dates is because the 2003's came out with a plethora of problems which have been suppoedly corrected at the factory on later build dates. Although my 2003.5 has a ton of problems too so maybe the 04s are better.

 

04 added a new Twilight Blue color for Coupe (TB goes away 05).

 

The 03.5, did have a different CD changer than the 03- supposedly quicker to change CDs. The center armrest was also changed on the 6MT
