i hope all you guys that put your plate inside your windshield get your heads cut off in accidents. all your luck of not having a front plate and not getting caught will run out. the price of being cool is just around the corner...

Placing the plates on inside of the windshield cancels out the coolness factor of the plate-less bumper. Just tacky and ricey.

I live in San Francisco, I've gotten 3 tickets in the last 2 months. They're out for blood these days ... y'know deficits 'n all.

Was just looking at the Stillen front plate bracket when I found this thread >.> ugh

I do now cos I'm almost back to OEM, but I didn't before and I've gotten cited twice before. I got pulled over 3 or 4 times because of it as well.

I'm just gonna get a retractable license plate. Not sure if I'll do motorized or not. Depends which I'm in the mood for making. Or I'll just buy one if I'm that lazy. I know it is said to be illegal to do use it (so I've heard), but it will be up and visible anytime I drive. When I'm parked, it will be hidden.

Just an FYI, that' not going to count. It MUST be attached to the bumper and bolted/screwed in so it does not come off.

The purpose is so that a cop can run your plates while in front of you. Although I think it's quite stupid, because that's a distraction to a cop and unsafe to other drivers.

IMHO, it's used as an excuse to generate revenue and to provide a reason to find other vehicle codes you are in violation of.
