I actually had a run of bad luck and got pulled over twice in 2 months.
But both times the cops gave me fix it tickets for my tint and no front plate instead of a moving violation.
In a way I guess you could say not having a front plate saved my ***.

Got the tix signed off and still rollin with no front plate and retinted windows

got a ticket once for no plate
just took some plastic bolts chopped the heads off super glued them to the plate then used double stick tape to hold the plate on to get the ticket signed off

Yes

Times pulled over for no front plate = ~20-30 times
Times Ticketed = 2

It's def a pita and feel it's quite pointless, if i had a unmoded bmw or mercedes this would never be an issue as well as with tint. I just act very polite and as you can see most the time they just tell you to take care of it and don't actually write me up.

Gotta better one for you Shane, when was the last time you saw a Corvette with a front plate in California? It's must be highly unusual cause I can only think of maybe twice....

I live by LAX, have gotten pulled over a bunch, and written up twice. I finally just got a Stillen adapter and put a front plate on to avoid the hassle. Sure it looks cleaner without one, but it's one reason for them to pull me over and start pokin around.

Mine's been in the trunk ever since getting the Inven installed. It's nice and safe in there.
In the 13 months of owning the car, I've never even had a cop behind me checking my plates.

And Long Beach airport pwns LAX in every way you can think of.

Nah, not always. Only if you're in a hurry. If not, and you just cleaned your ride, what better way to get noticed then by being pulled over all lit up with blue and red lights? Pfft, makes those goofy LED strips everyones raving about, look like christmas lights.
