I dont have one but have gotten pulled over before in Livermore for it along with tinted windows. However, I got out of the ticket by telling the officer my car didnt come with a front plate holder when I bought it, and he believed it since I have the Kuruma Z Front. Got out of the tint ticket too.

i got a fix it ticket when i still had my OEM bumper but i used that paper clip trick using a bracket and the tow hook hole.

worked like a charm!

I haven't had a front license plate on any of my cars for the past 17 years, which includes my wife's Vette too. But that doesn't mean I won't get a ticket today or tomorrow. It's kinda like the tint game, ya roll til you get caught....and roll again.

I only run a front license plate to and from shows. So 99% of the time I do not run a front plate. Was pulled over a few months ago and got a speeding ticket, but no fix it ticket for the front plate (or tint).

 

I got a ticket for tint, luckily the cop didn't check for the front plate at the time. I have no intentions of putting it on.

Yes and yes. I've gotten 3 tickets for no front plate with this car.

No front plate here... have not gotten ticketed for it but like Gary said, it can happen at any time and that's the risk we run.

I did get a ticket for a rear plate cover that was so oxidized, you could barely see through it. The cop checked the front and said you'll have to get that fixed when you get this fix it ticket corrected so he didnt give me one for the front. CHP didnt even bother to check it when i brought my ticket in to get signed off.
