You guys think its the clutch???
I was suspecting that it might be..
The clutch still feels good tho.. Its got a decent amount of pressure left.

The engine idles perfectly and purrrrs nice and clean when revved up.
I cant imagine it having any engine troubles.
It sounds mean and doesnt skip a beat at all. It was regularly service at the dealership for oil changes etc.

How can I check to see if the clutch is bad? will the mechanic charge me just to take a look to see if its bad? Can It be visibly inspected to see if its bad??
Im a car newb so please excuse the ignorance..

Thanks

I don't think it's the clutch. It's called drive-by-wire lag. and We're all use to it by now.

lol took me awhile to get used to the DBW... my car would jerk around when shifting, i went from a tight throttle cable instant response 240sx to the DBW throttle G35...

but how do you explain his friends G35 being faster on the butt dyno?

to the OP: maybe your friend has the revup VQ and you don't? i dunno i may be wrong

If you have to replace your clutch/flywheel, expect to pay around 700-800 in parts if it's an aftermarket clutch/flywheel like the JWT. Labor is about another 500-600 bux. It's an expensive repair, but it sounds like you need to get it replaced soon
