Jay- wants to know when racing is it better to turn off VDC

hey guys! and one more thing my friend has an 05" g35 as well but he has a semi-auto. He was asking me if it was better to drive tiptronic. i think it allows better control of engine rpm for each situation where sometimes the auto logic holds you back. Any other better ways of shifting or any hints please comment thank you...

We're not allowed to discuss street racing here on DRIVER since it's illegal and has a funny way of killing our members. Jay....tell your friend with the 5AT to leave his VDC on, it's way smarter than he is!

Who the hell is Jay and why is his car purple? I do like the rims though they look like they're 18's.

You have a automatic. Drive like its made for, grocery shopping. Now if your husband told you to get them beers, better turn that VDC off/ Put it in fake stick shift mode and push it to the limit.

/thread.

I guess I'll have to remember to do the same with my GT-R.
