advice on buying a salvaged vehicle.
oh dang, flood damage? thats too bad...slowly walk away from this car, lol...
I have driven reconstructed and salvage cars for about 8 years or so and I have never touched a flood damage vehicle, they tend to have MAJOR issues later down the road.
Ive been trying to sell mine for a while, its too bad no one has $16000 cash on them lol...

wOw!! flood damage is a definite no no. I think you got the information you were looking for to make a wise decision
you should keep that shop in your contacts & bring any car you want to inspect to them since he doesn't have a problem stating true facts about a car in front of its owner
lol

Hmm that is interesting. What type of damage did he see. did it appear as though the block had been submerged? Did the owner sweeten the deal even more.? If it were me I would have said. "Geez I really love the car but really leary about flood damage, that makes me real nervous.... "
