Re: Goodbye g35 hello 2005 gto.

u guys are pretty funny. i think some of you have some hidden pent up aggression from ur childhood. maybe some of u were bullied or something. that is why i hate this forum anyway. i was just saying what i was going to do. you dont have to hate on my choice. i liked my g. it was to slow and i dont want to spend 7000 and blow it up. i have had a mustang cobra, an m3, and plenty of other cars. i happen to think the new gto with 400 hp, a bodykit, rims, red leather, and a 12 second et is well worth it. my yamaha r1 wont feel that slow anymore. I post some pics when i get the car. YOU GUYS SHOULD RELAX AND GET OUT MORE. some of you should actually think before they speak.

Re: Goodbye g35 hello 2005 gto.

in response to WRAH
I don't want to get booted for saying this but....

...anything Pontiac, especially sports cars remind me of missing teeth, trailor trash white guys and mollets. West Virgina is a good Pontiac state!

Ford Mustangs have more class.

That being said, I want to say that I am not calling anyone here in the g35driver forum or anyone from WV a "missing teeth, trailor trash white guys and mollets"

u make me laugh. have u ever had a girlfriend before. with that type of philosophy, you should run for president. you are quite witty. with my new gto, and my model fiance, and all of my teeth, i will wave to u in my rear view mirror. maybe i will even throw u a 20 so u can get some octane boost and another 2 hp. good luck with ur g though.

Obviously this is in a G35 forum so there are going to be some bias comments...Let the man buy a GTO

No bashing of people, just my view of pontiac, thats all. And what about style? It looks like an updated grand am.

STI might be an ugly duck, but at least it has its own style!

Re: Goodbye g35 hello 2005 gto.

I couldn't have said it any better (except to say that it looks "boring" rather than "ugly")...

"I can see your dilema but you probably shouldn't have a bought a G in the first place. They are fast but of course they won't feel anything like the new GTO. It's a different kind of car. I personally think the GTO is very ugly for a 30K+ car but the interior, performance and quality is definitely there. Now if it actually looked like that picture of the Judge floating around and it had the rumored 400hp coming in the '05's then yes, I would be driving a GTO baby!! But it won't so neither will I. I'm perfectly happy with my G. She's still pretty damn fast and I'm sorry but only a handful of cars look sexier on the road than a G35!! Anyway, goodluck with your new GTO. I think you'll love it.

btw...for those of you bashing Pontiac's please be more open minded. My old car was a '97 Trans Am and it was soooooooo much fun to drive. As I said once before awhile back. The G is my supermodel, the Trans Am was my pornstar!"

Re: Goodbye g35 hello 2005 gto.

shiny black trans am with t-tops, chrome rims, and nice exhaust is so much hotter than the gto. yet still neither compare to the overall beauty or style of our G's. I love the color coordinated GTO leather seats tho. black with red leather seats is fn hot.
