You made the thread why? Sorry "bro" I think everyone can agree your comparison in the beginning sucked hard and you have only proven to be a total tool and douche. You might want to step away from the keyboard and not make more posts on driver, or at least this thread for a while or you are going to continue to make enemies who will make your time on here hell.

im not trying to act like anything, all i am saying is that sti's and G's are around the same pound diff. 3450 G35 to a 3300 sti, is not a big difference, thats why i dont get when people say G35's are soooooooo heavy. Thats ALL im trying to say, and why i mad the thread. Yes any car can be faster then another, nuff said on that. I dont get on this site to pre-check my words and what i say, i get the info from websites and from me at the track.

Also for all the car people and subaru owners once in there lives who can tell me if you have Injen cold air intake, X02 Racing Intercooler, Mishimoto aluminum radiator, Turbox wastegate, AEM Boost solenoid, Perrin fuel rail injectors, Perrin downpipe and full Perrin stainless exhaust with turbo-back exhaust, Perrin fuel system with stock turbo on a 2005 STi would you be hitting anything near 450 to the crank? NOT THE WHEELS but the crank? Just wondering

Current STI got lighter, while the current G37 got heavier

ahahahah this thread is ridiculous. Idk about yall, but where I live, every other car is a G driven by either a 40yr old woman, or a douschbag with spiked up hair who thinks to himself "ohh everyone is staring at me and my head turning car". You drive a common, decent luxury sport vehicle, get over it. It is nice, but not that nice. Btw, the G vs an STI...really??? If you have never ridden in one or driven one, just try your hardest to keep your fingers off the keyboard. My brother has a stage 2 STI and there is no way in hell the G could keep up.

Maybe.

Intake, turbo back exhaust, pulleys, access port, and tune will put you at 305awhp. From experience.

And also, Idk why you made this thread. People dont run around yelling G35's are so much heavier than STI's. Its not a big deal. I don't think I have ever heard anyone compare the two's weight.

As I mentioned in the above post, it only has and exhaust, intake, pulleys, and tune. That makes it a stage 2.

Stock for stock, the STI would still run the G all day long.

The G would pull on the STI... at highly illegal speeds only.

I think the OP is mad because he got spanked by a STI.

It seems that everyone is forgetting the main thing here..... THE DRIVER!

It doesn't matter the power of the car per say, its the ability of the driver to put that power down, that's the real difference.

On my 04 STi that I use to have, it had an FP Green turbo, FMIC , 750cc injectors, Perrin inlet tube and after MAF, Cobb catless down pipe, hallman boost controller and Blitz exhaust, custom open source tune (tune by Testes in Evansville IN on the road), target boost was set to 20lb and tapering to 17lbs at 6K RPM. It was putting down 406 AWHP and 427 FT lbs of torque.

My 08 I had a full cobb catless exhaust and a cobb AP off the self reflash. This car was only producing 278 AWHP and 299 Ft LBs torque. Per a mustang dyno which I think was off by 2% due to the wrong corrections.

My reason for saying this is because I raced a friend in his stock Cobra in the 04 and he won, then I raced him again in the 08 and I won, I contribute that win to my driving skills and the lessons I took to figure out how the car works and how to really put power down.

That's just my opinion though.

Lol I just read all this, 7 pages of nonsense finally comes back to the topic at the last page. Soo many different views I don't know what's faster or not
People say wrx<g35<sti
Others say g35<wrx<sti
And also wrx<sti<g35
Even g35<sti<wrx (this is from reading 3 other threads about wrx vs g35)
We should all agree tho.. That the g35 has a better interior, and draws more chicks.
