what is wrong ??

i was on the 57N tonight going home ... i was on the right lane and there was a piece of wood on the ground .. i couldnt switch lanes and bam it hits my car but it goes underneath my car and it sounded like it hit the bumper (underneath) cause im pretty sure if it the my exhaust it would have made a loud *ding* sounds right ?? well i get home and i turn off my car and i noticed a really loud *click* *click* sound.. it was pretty loud and it kept making that sound .. so i just went inside my house .. i waited like 10min and it went away .. do you think anything is wrong underneath ?? oh yeah and a street before my house .. i ran my car pretty hard took it too 5krpm for half a mile im guessing not sure so could tha be a reason why there was the *clicking* sound ?? man i am stressing so much =( everything is going wrong with my car

Re: what is wrong ??

That's oil or something dripping after shutting down, it's natural

Re: what is wrong ??

Not likely you damaged anything but if you get the car up off the ground, you can see any possible damage.

The clicking sound is prolly the hot pipes cooling off after a fast run.

i hate it when there's f*cking debris on the freeway. I struck some kind of wood thing too coming home tonite on the 60E near Diamond Bar. Our coupes are so low that every little thing hurts it on the bottom.
