I already got the UpRev and will be working with them to get the correct maps flashed. I know that its more that just throw it in and see what happens. The valve train will be ok with the BC springs and titanium retainers. Lots of people have a simple plenum spacer exhaust set up so I know running it like that without flashing the ecu wont really be an issue. However when i put the cams in its a whole nother ball game right. If i cant get it to run right Ill remove them and get rid of the set on here or give them away to another buddy of mine with a non revup.

Simple...

Yup the cams springs and retainers and bnib sitting right here next to me. Tony at Motordyne said it would be another week or so before the TDX and ART pipes will be available to ship out. I know i coulda got a steal on an HKS system from the distributor here but Tony made me an offer I couldnt refuse on a package deal.

Tony is VERY intelligent with his research and development. He's onto something with those ART pipes. Just sucks that it's a tad bit raspy (at least the video i saw) But definetly sounds track inspired. For a sedan it's a bit out of the league yet on the coupe it'll sure bring some smiles.

If you are installing the BC2 cams, you won't see much more power climb pass the peak stock rpm location, so installing new springs is not worthwhile IMO, but if you plan to perhaps do something else down the line that might increase your potential to rev higher and still make power than it might be useful. Good luck.

for the people that are telling him to go to a dyno & tune.

"WE DONT HAVE A DYNO IN GUAM."
the closest things we have to tuning our cars are cobb accesport and other self tuning accessories. Just trying to clear things up for you guys.

Yep, I've spent thousands on bolt-ons and still not satisified. Thats why I got two Greddy turbos sitting next to me waiting to go on. Because of the labor required (cost) associated with cams/springs, custom tuning, breather bolt-ons to help the cams work better...etc your better off going FI.

N/A has a different powerband than boost.

Does the Osiris read the a/f ratios and save them for later retrival? I spoke with both BC and JWT. BS says that their cams require a reflash and JWT says that it isnt neccessary. There is a slight difference between the specs of the 2. Just a little something to think about.
