PSSSHHHH Like you know what lowering even IS Pat...

*Don't hurt me!*

hehe

Yea in general, lowering first will keep the forum happy, and you can always use the "wheels are coming" thing to stop the spacer posts you're gonna rack up hehe...

My '03 has 20" rims with squat tires, looks and handles great. Ever heard of Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina? 2 pictures on my profile, OSCN. Pass on coil overs. They were on my 300ZX.

It looks FINE at stock height; I get tons of people commenting on how nice the car looks as it is now...

Don't get me wrong though I would love to lower my car a little but here comes the practicality. I don't feel like listening to the sound of the bottom of my car hitting pavement or driving 0.1 mph over the insanely annoyingly high speedbumps
I have in the area (I have to drive very carefully over them even now and still get some scraping). There's always construction here too and some of the roads I drive on to school are crappy and I don't want to get home at night sore, stiff, and with raging headaches because I feel every bump and crack in the road. To top it all off, I don't need my GF screaming in my ear because it's uncomfortable riding it my car. Hehe

And to whoever made the "I have 20", learn to drive and adapt" comment.... Don't be an ignorant ******** k?

^^my thoughts exactly.

Lowered looks and performs great, but everyone is right, you gotta do it the right way. imo: springs, street shocks, beefier endlinks, and swaybars...insane handling.

Did you have to mod your fenders or did all that fit at stock height?
Thanks

Thanks! That looks clean!!

I currently have 19X9.5 Rims 245/40 19's on the Front and 19X10.5 Rims with 275/35 T19's on the rear.
They are lightly stretched and I want to get away from that and push out to 285s in the rear and to 255s in the front.

I just got these monsters put on. They are 18" but maybe with a tire calculator it will help visualize on 19". They are MICHELIN PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4 255/45/18 rear 235/45/18 front on stock suspension. I needed to size up to clear my garage entry and this just makes it, before we were scraping but it's a lot of meat on the wheels.
