Thanks av8or!

My 2003 coupe's headlight was viciously attacked by a neighbors mailbox. After reading your thread and pricing a 2003 headlight assembly ($585.26 which of course includes ballast) I decided to go with the 06-07 projectors. Bought them from Riverside for less than a single 03. Installed them this past week and they do look great! I like the look of the 03 headlights (I bought my G in 2002) but the projectors are cleaner looking and i like the look of the clear turnsignals. I have clear corners and I'm going to swap them out for LEDs. The coupe's garage mate also has projectors, it's a 2010 Mercedes Benz E350 coupe also black like my G35. It's projectors are really impressive. They turn when you turn the wheel and they automatically adjust their intensity according to the intensity of the lights of the oncoming car. I'm not braging here this is just my first Mercedes. Actually my wife's Mercedes I don't get to drive it that much.

I am sad that she gets to drive the Mercedes....I love my G!!! But the Mercedes is something else. It has an all glass roof...push the button and the sun screen (covers the entire interior) retracts and the sunroof opens. Push the button and the rear window sun block comes up. It's got paddle shifters mated with a seven speed auto...the shifts are clean and fast. It also does something that I wish the G35 did, it shows you on the digital display on the speedometer which gear you are in when you are in manual shift mode. This is my first Mercedes... they haven't built An E class coupe since 1955. But, I still love my G. It's a brut!!!

av8or... you know i hate to admit this,,, but I'm 63 and have cateracts and I don't drive at night. But, I'm gonna get that taken care of and my 1990 miata may become a spec racer. It's kinda sad that when you reach a point in your life that you can afford all those toys you wanted you gotta be so old.

+1000 bro - 20 years behind you, but I can still relate. If only I had the time to enjoy the fruits of all that labor!
