What is the spring mount mod?
The springs mount mod lowers the rear about 1/2". Some to it it to get more of a drop in the rear or to even out the drop. S-tech's are usually lower in the front than the rear. The mod even's it out. Search the forums for the spring mount mod.

Since you have a sport, you should have went with Z S-techs to keep the spring rate comparable to the sport springs. Why get softer springs than OEM in the rear?

As for you camber being only being off by 1 whole degree, you probably have an upwards of -2.7 of negative camber. 1 whole degree is a significant amount if tire wear is of a concern. Toe is also important and effects tire wear which you did not mention. Post your alignment sheet before giving advice. It's proven that s-techs need camber and toe bolts in the rear for better tire wear.

I can't remember what my camber was but when I had my G S-techs on my front tires were shot within 8 months. Even at -1 camber, you will still see uneven wear on the tires.

And go with the Z S-techs since they're stiffer.

i want to see pics with the tein s tech g35 springs and the 350z springs on the g35 anyone have any?
my car was already lowered when I bought it. Heres a pic of its stance with the Tein S tech springs. I dont know how the camber is or if I even have camber kits on it. I should probably take it to get an alignment and find out huh?

I went with Tein H-Tech's over the S-Tech. Personally.. I wanted to maintain the luxury feel in ride quality that the G offers with a more aggressive look. The drop is 0.6 in front and 0.3 in rear. This allows you to stay very near stock camber levels, So there is no need for a camber kit.. The drop offers a noticeable and aggressive look without the worry of Camber adjustment or the worry of scraping everytime you pull out of the driveway. I definitley recommend the H-Tech spring to anyone looking to maintain the stock Luxury that you paid for with the G.. and a more aggressive look. Without affecting camber or looking all riced out with a slammed out G on the floor. Just my opinion.

If you have questions about ride height you can go to www.tein.com and look over their chart that shows the difference between their H-Techs/350Z H-Techs and the S-Techs springs. The spring mount mod is when you remove the TOP mount and cut an inch or so off....SEARCH there's a "How To" by BigC from a few years ago....hopefully still around! It's been my experience that if you lower your G35 due to the lack of adjustability (new word) within the suspension you'll need both front/rear camber kits. It's just common sense to buy/install the camber kit rather than buy tires once a year....

Absolutely.. Gimme a couple hours. My GF just left with my camera in her purse... When she gets back, I'll snap a few pics O the ride to give you a good idea of whether or not u feel the drop is aggressive enuff for your liking.. Just my opinion, But I feel the Infiniti G35 is a Luxury Coupe.. It should maintain that luxury ride quality when you daily drive it. In no way am I saying the S-Tech is an Inferior model than the H-Tech. It's just preference. You can not go wrong either way. TEIN >

I got 350z S-techs because of the higher spring rating. The G35 S-techs are way to soft for the 06 sport tune susp. Anyways heres mine w/ the spring mount mod. BTW I had both 350z H-techs and 350z S-techs, I would recommend getting the 350z Stechs.
