chips in paint.....

i have an 05 and alot of small chips are accumulating on the front hood and front bumper area also there are alot of fingerprints and smudges all over the car i cannot get rid of should i just repaint the whole car? also i took off the emblems on the trunk and you can see where they used to be(the paint is lighter where the letters and mt fugi were) so i painted the mt fugi black(also painted stock rims black and the grille black) and glued it back on but it is fading now and i want to take it off but the glue is pretty strong dont know what to use, goo gone probly wont cut it

everything
A professional detail will fix most of the paint problems. Inifiniti paint is soft, the front of these cars are prone to chipping. Have the bumper and hood repainted if it get too bad, no need to repaint the whole car.

And why did you glue the emblems on? They make double sided tape.... the same stuff they originally put the emblems on with....

Sure hope you didnt spray paint all those thing black?

What is this "NIGHTMARE 101" you glued the emblems back on? Most of your issues could have been resolved by detailing your ride correctly and using the right touch-up paint. Now if you intend to remove the emblem anything you use might destroy the paint. Check our DETAIL section for some advice on car care.

On the other hand i have been driving my car the way it was meant to driven on these mountain passes. Tearing up tires like no other but ill never trade her in even when the engine goes or tranny, it would an excuse to get a new one and go FI Wow i love my car.

not gonna lie and I may get crap for it but I ordered a Dr. Color Chip last week for my LR to take care of some chips on my door, trunk (NO IDEA HOW THEY GOT THERE) and hood .. the kit literally worked soo well I have a hard time finding the chips that used to anger me soo much every time I would get into the car .. if having parts repainted or getting to a detailer for help is too much money, the $50ish for this kit is WELL worth it IMO .. good luck OP
