I was running 2" spacers on the rear of my xterra (4.0L V6) for almost 2 years. Never had a problem. Just remember to use some lock tight on the ones that attach to the hub. I'm still researching the whole air filter question. But if I do use a drop in filter it will be a dry filter. Either amsoil or the apexi one.

Well I ordered the Apexi drop in filter for $27 shipped but there back ordered for a cpl of weeks. No biggie. The spacers and springs have arrived. I have installed the spacers. They make the car really nice! But I think I could have gone around 30mm in the rear and made it more flush. Anyone want to buy a set of 25mm Spacers for $100 shipped? Almost brand new have less than 100 miles on them, pm me if interested!!

In California, can't do too much with the smog checks (at least visually). Tried to keep it looking fairly stock. Can you spot the mods that were done to my G35 Coupe? All reasonably priced additions.

debadged blackout grill
cover over brake master cylinder
Cold Air Intake
Ztube
strut bar
CF plenum cover
chrome caps
nismo radiator cap
5/16 plenum spacer (can't see)

Awesome. Just let me know when. I still have them on my car but whenever you want just pm me and I will take them off immediately after payment and send them to you. BTW I just installed the rear springs today...Sweetness is all I can say. I went from 27 7/8" to basically 27" from the ground to the fender. Still awaiting the spring to settle and to do the fronts tomorrow. Thanks for the advice everyone.

I prefer the Infinti Cover myself, But I will soon be buying lil accessories here and there for the G. Then one day have a semi show car. I don't think I will ever upgrade to these 1-3k rims everyone here are sporting. They look f'n sweet, but to rich for my blood. I'm trying to get some 19" OEM's from the 05-07 crowd. One day I will find a great deal on them locally. Its a B.... to ship to HI. My next mods will be a camber kit, sways and a 5/16" or 3/8" spacer.

stock rims

Yeah, I had to go with the CF cover as the strut bar wouldn't fit with the plenum spacer and stock cover... one thing seems to lead to another.

I like understated and kept my stock rims. This pic is with Tanabe springs, camber kits & wheel spacers. It was a little too low (though the ride was surprisingly good) so went with Eibach springs. Also put 245/275x35 tires on the rims with no problems.

Ok so here is my progress:

before spacers:

After 25mm Spacers all around:

Ok so now I have installed my Tein Z H-Tech Springs:

Its a work in progress. I don't like how the rear spacers turned out so I am selling them and buying a 30mm spacer to close the gap even more. Also I will be buying new tires, I want a lil bit wider and taller tire for the rear, any recommendations, and a 245/45R18 tire for the fronts. What other things do you guys see that I can improve on? I'm thinking about spray painting the rear diffuser satin black as well.

your mods...

i like the spacers wouldnt have went with springs shouldve saved your money for coilovers. the plenum and intake should have been the first mods you got, i have md 5/16 and AEM CAI. next is exhaust i think hks hi power is best but its pricy you could get a good muffler shop to build you a custom for half the price, def get hfcs tho and headers wont hurt especially if you want real power eventually. then you want to open up that engine and throw some cams in there and upgrade your fuel system and get bigger fuel injectors. tune all that and you should be pushing 330+ to the wheels oh dont spray paint your car, do it right. good luck

Almost should of gone 30mm in the back if you're wanting to use spacers. I'd be curious to see the different between 25mm and 20mm in the front. The 25mm seem to stick out just a touch too much.
