The Tein G35 H-Techs won't lower your car much so after you install the springs have it aligned. Then you can tell how far off OE alignment specs you are. Chances are very good you'll need adjustable a-arms (F) and camber arms/toe bolts (R) which you can buy here on DRIVER under our Marketplace....vendor suspension. It's much better to buy the adjusters now than new tires once a year....

with that minor of a drop, you wont need an aftermarket alignment kit.

yes, your front camber will be slightly off but not by much. Toe can be corrected.

Rears both toe and camber can be adjusted.

you'll be with in oem specs.

The S-techs will wear out your tires, as well as your struts (depending on how you drive). You will want camber kits with those.

So, if I drop on S-techs and get camber kits, would I still need to worry about my struts wearing out prematurely or would the camber kit take care of it?

They will ultimately shorten the life of the struts but the contributing factor is how you drive. I do a lot of spirited driving and my struts were blown at 45K miles, 9-11 months after I've lowered the car. The camber kits simply help fix camber issues and have nothing to do with the struts.

Under normal driving conditions the OEM struts should last a little while but expect to replace them within a few years.

Would it be prudent to simply get new struts when I lower my car or can this wait until the OEM ones are blown?

I believe you should get as much use out of your current struts as possible. Yours may last longer then mine...

I can only go by my experience with the Tein 350Z H-Tech springs I installed. I didn't get an alignment for 2 weeks after springs were installed to let them settle. After the alignment, in about 30 days I started hearing the famous Roooooar from my front tires. Couldn't turn up my tunes high enough not to hear that damn noise. Checked my tires and got back with the tech that did my alignment. His advice was, due to the simple fact our suspension has very little adjustment and to get the suspension pieces to correct it which I did. Not all our Gs are the same but before I'd tell someone that camber/toe adjusters weren't needed I'd ask the tech doing your alignment how far off OE specs the alignment is....opinions don't mean squat if you alignment is way off and can't be adjusted....logic!

^Point taken. But 350Z H-techs lower more then G35 H-techs. And I never have met/read about anyone with G H-techs that needed a camber kit. I agree that an alignment should be done first to see the results before deciding on adjustable components. But of the G35's I've installed these springs on, not one of them had camber out of specs enough to require camber kits. Thats my experience...
