GT-R Exhaust vs. HKS Exhaust
Hi guys, I need some advice. I am contemplating on buying a used GT-R stock exhaust modified with G35 tips with stock headers, cats, and Y-pipe from a G35Driver member. It sounds pretty nice...
They are selling it for a pretty good price. The reason why I have not pulled the trigger yet is because I'm not sure whether I should get the GT-R exhaust or save up for the HKS exhaust. What do you guys think would be the best thing to do? Comparing looks, sounds, performance, etc? Also, the seller claims performance numbers of 9hp and 7ft pounds of torque from the GT-R exhaust. I have not found any dyno numbers from the HKS exhaust yet. So what should I do? Decisions Decisions....lol

HKS for me, but it's really just your personal opinion. My reasoning is that I'd rather buy an exhaust made for my car than something hacked together from another car.
One thing I would not do is buy the GTR exhaust because it's cheaper and you don't want to save up for the HKS. Buy the GTR exhaust only if you genuinely like it more, or else you will ALWAYS be disappointed and pining for what you originally wanted. It will cost you more money in the long run when you do it right. Just ask anybody that's ever ran springs, or a popcharger, or cheap wheels.

Yea I understand what you guys are saying about buying an exhaust designed for the G35. The GTR exhaust sounds so nice though and the seller is selling at a good price. lol why does the HKS have to be so expensive! I've only heard videos of the HKS exhaust...I have not heard it in person yet. Does anyone have any dyno numbers from the HKS exhaust?
