03-04: I wouldn't bother getting these year. The dashboard and cluster are of the old ones.

05: Forged Rays were introduced this year as well as a updated dashboard and cluster. MT got a rev up.

06-07: projector headlights, sport bumper/side skirts, Bluetooth, tail lights were added/updated. Keyless keys for AT's only.

I went with a 2005 model with sports. The price was much cheaper and I like the 03-05 tail lights better. I can also change the head lights and install a radio with Bluetooth.

I would get the newest/lowest mileage G you can afford.
I bought a low mileage 04 two years ago and love it.
Good Luck!

I picked up an 05 recently. Couldn't be happier with it aside from the paint sucking...but that's common on all G35s :/ In retrospect though, one thing I'd keep an eye out for is how much remaining manufacturer warranty you will have left with whatever year you end up choosing. That way you can skim through the TSBs and check to see if there is anything you need to get replaced/fixed under warranty before it expires. Good luck with your shopping!

id research more before you just up and buy one...seems kinda stupid to just see a couple comments and be like "oh ok ill buy an 06/07" yeah...no thats not smart. how bout you research a lil more...i understand you wanna get straight to the source being this forum so ill recommend an 06/07 cause everyone with an 05 and lower put 06 bumpers on, 06 HID's in and take that God awfully hugeee wing from the lower yrs off. so buying an 06 would be the best of both worlds and you can find one for under 20k with it being fully loaded and around 40k miles.

06-07

I think on the 07 the smart key came standard and its pretty sweet I didnt think I would like it that much but i love it.
and now when i get in a car that uses a key I am like what... oh yeah i need to actualy use the key

but I do like the lower years spoiler better, I think it looks more agressive
the 06-07 spoiler looks wimpy

I agree

I bought my 07 OB 8000mi for 25k. It was a little more out of my price range but I do have alot of warranty left and I commute a lot(38mi one way to work) so I figured it would be a better investment

No its not a push start, It senses the intelligent key and I just get in and turn the ignition.

No use of a key, just stays right in my pocket.

If you have the MT g then yes you do have to physically use a key to start the engine
