I also wanted to point out that the only problems I have had is the driver side window motor went haywire, the passenger seat motor is going out and the passenger door lock doesn't work right all the time. Also any clues on why my actual key doesn't unlock the door when I stick it in the key hole but it starts my car?
You shouldn't hi-jack this thread.

1. I asked the same thing so you can search this forum to find it.
2. I don't think we need to do anything with the timing belt (chain). You only need to replace the alternator and A/C belts. The timing chain should last forever, but I could be wrong.
3. G35s don't have spark plug wires.
4. Can you unlock the door with your remote? If so then the little plastic piece that hooks to the actuator probably broke. The plastic piece connects the key module to the actuator. You have to take the door panels off to see if it is broken.

Sorry to "hijack the thread". It was not my intention, just wanted to add something and hopefully get an answer or two while everyone in this thread was on the subject. Thanks for the help though.
