g35 lowered... tires gone now!

ok i bought my g35 with coilovers on it with 19" ssr's... my brand new tires were gone in 6 months... my mechanic is saying my front and rear camber kit wont change anything an that it will make me have more toe and ruin my tires quicker... wtf? i dont believe this... help anyone?

i havent put my camber kit on yet btw... its saying it wont change anything

He doesn't know what his talking about. Camber kit front and back plus alignment is all you need.

What brand is the camber kit?

Find another alignment shop beause most kits will fix the camber.

Camber kit would only help with inner tire wear. Toe affects tire wear more-so than Camber.

And the stock G already has poor tread wear. Tires barely last 10-14k.

whats the point of having a sports car if you dont speed... im not doing burn outs or nothing like that!?

^Camber and feathering are two different things. The 03-04's were known for feathering issues.

The right kit should help with the camber. I'd suggest seeing another mechanic.

i ran into to the same problem in the rear. I put my camber kit on and it made my toe go out even more so i had to get toe bolts for the rear. now i am all good.
